It feels like such a long time since I've last updated you on here. Since my trips to Paris and Ibiza I've been taking some time for myself to focus on what I really want and need. I had a period where I was feeling anxious and insecure, especially when going to castings. Luckily, through yoga, meditation, working out on a daily basis (are you doing the 30 day workout challenge with me?) and spending time with family, I found myself again and feel happier than ever.
That's why I wanted to share some of my favorite model off-duty activities. First of all, I love going to the beach. Hearing the sound of the crashing waves, the sand between my toes: for me it's pure bliss. Especially when the sun shines brightly. However, recently I've been also obsessed with cryotherapy. That has to be my second favorite on the list! During whole body cryotherapy you expose your body to a temperature of -110 degrees Celsius for 3 minutes. This intense cooling induces a number of physiologic changes in your body. In response to the extreme cold, thermo receptors in the skin give signals to the brain to send the blood to the core to maintain body temperature and protect the organs The internal organs enrich the blood with oxygen, enzymes and nutrients. The immune system increases the white blood cell count which boosts your immune system and reduces inflammation. After cryo I always feel 100% better and my energy levels go through the roof. If you haven't tried it yet, then please try it out!
Number three on my list is definitely reading. There's nothing more enjoyable than spending time with a book, all cuddled up on my sofa, but preferably bed. Recently I've been obsessed with Lessons by Gisele, especially the story about her dog made me tear up. Speaking about dogs, they are number four on the happiness list. I can't help myself, but whenever I see dogs I have to pet them and secretly want to take them home with me. What can I say? Dogs are just irresistible! Especially Shiba Inu's, I want one so badly! What's your favorite breed?

Number five is yoga, like I mentioned earlier it's one of the tools I use to make me feel better. I used to only practice Vinyasa, but lately I prefer to do Yin. Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. After every class, I feel so calm and I just can't stop smiling!
